Natural Stone Products

Our range of Stone Sealer products are designed to penetrate into the interior of all natural stone surfaces where they act as repellents to prevent damage while allowing the stone to breath and release moisture vapors. This provides the stone with protection against water and oil based stains, household acids and alkalis, and the formation of mold and mildew growth all of which can cause discoloration and staining. All of our Stone Sealer products can be used on interior and exterior surfaces including marble, granite, slate, limestone travertine, sandstone, agglomerates and naturally occurring stones. They can be used as marble counter top sealers, marble floor sealers, marble wall sealers, granite counter top sealers, granite wall sealers, granite floor sealers, slate counter top sealers, slate wall sealers, slate floor sealers, limestone counter top sealers, limestone wall sealers, limestone floor sealers and on any other type of travertine, sandstone, agglomerate and naturally occurring stones structure.

Coverage of the Stone Sealer products varies depending on the porosity of the individual stone but approximately 50 to 100 square metres per 5 litres is normal and two coats are recommended.

All of our products are environmentally friendly (eco-friendly) because they are water based, essentially odorless. They contain very low levels of solvents and volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) so they have a minimal impact on the environment.

Stone Sealer #2

Stone Sealer #2 is a reactive silicone polymer emulsion in water which impregnates and seals the stone surfaces to leave a natural finish without the release of any volatile organic compounds(VOC) which means that it can be applied in enclosed or occupied premises where stricter clean air and VOC standards are enforced. This is the product that we most often recommend for sale to the general public for the maintenance of all stone surfaces after installation because it is lot easier to apply than some of the solvent based alternatives. We recommend that this product is applied every 2 to 3 years.

Stone Sealer #3

Stone Sealer #3 is a fluoropolymer emulsion in water which bonds with all types of stone surfaces to produce a natural finish while providing stain resistance and increased wear abrasion. It contains <0.1% (<1 g/L) VOC which means that it can also be applied in enclosed or occupied. premises. This product is also recommended for sale to the general public for the maintenance of all stone surfaces after installation and it should be applied every 2 to 3 years.

Stone Soap Ultra is a highly concentrated water based cleaner used by the professionals which has been specifically formulated for marble, granite, slate, limestone, terazzo, cultured marble, ceramic and quarry tile and all other natural interior and exterior stone surfaces. Concrete Sealer X-3

Concrete Sealer X-3 is a special blend of polysiloxanes which crosslink below the surface of the concrete, mortar and bricks making the surfaces water repellant and stain resistant allowing spills to be removed more easily. 

Concrete Sealer X-3 can be applied on all types of decorative and stained pavers, aggregate driveways and walkways, patios, block pavers, bricks and clay tiles. It can be used in warehouses, garages, lock-ups, rented units and on factory floors providing a breathable barrier against water, stains and acids and it will seal hair line cracks. The product can also be used to seal swimming pools andfish ponds to prevent water escaping through the concretes' capilliaries and pores. It can also be used in dog kennels and agricultural institutions to provide stain resistance which assists in the maintenace of these enclosures.

Concrete Sealer X-3 is a DIY type product which is easy to apply using a brush, medium nap roller or low pressure sprayer at any temperature between 5 and 25°C (40 and 80°F ). The surface to be treated does not need any special treatment but it must be oil and dust free to allow proper penetration of the product. It will cover approximately 25 to 50m² per 5 litre bottle (250 to 500 sq. ft. per gallon) depending on the concrete, mortar and brick porosity and two coats are recommended. Typically a 25 litre pail (~5 gallons) will seal a maxumim of 125m² (~1,000 sq. ft.) of poured concrete using the two required applications(250m² total) but this coverage can be lower depending on the porosity.

The product leaves a natural finish (no sheen) after application which is UV stable and the surface will not be slippery unlike some wet look or high gloss competitive products. The above picture shows the degree of water repellency that will be achieved with this product.

Concrete Sealer X-3 has also been proven as an effective anti-graffitti barrier helping to prevent paints, aerosols and crayons from adhering to the wall and allowing easy removal if they do.

Concrete Sealer X-3 is a ready to use product and does not require the addition of an activator which means that it does not have a limited pot life unlike some competitive products and it has a shelf life of at least 6 months.

Concrete Cleaner #1

Concrete Cleaner #1 is a highly concentrated product which can be used to clean and degrease concrete, masonry, bricks, stone, mortar and stucco. This product will remove most stains including oils, tar, dirt, grime, adhesives, resins, paints and graffiti.

Concrete Cleaner #1 can be used to clean concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, parking lots, factory and garage floors, basements, walls, storage tanks, pipes, cinder blocks, mortar and stucco.

Concrete Cleaner #1 is diluted 100:1 with water for light duty cleaning, 10:1 for normal cleaning, 5:1 for heavy duty cleaning and can be used straight if necessary when removing excessive amounts of oil, grease and paint. When used straight Concrete Cleaner #1 will clean approximately 100 square feet per gallon. The product can be fed through a pressure washer for easy dilution and application and then rinsed off thoroughly. If stubborn stains persist the product can be poured directly on to the stain and then worked in with a stiff brush for 10 minutes and then rinsed off. Even when used undiluted this product will not cause any damage to the concrete because it is not acidic unlike other cleaners based on muriatic acid which actually dissolve the concrete to remove the stains.
